The 320 days run I was overrun by a Blood moon followed up by another Blood moon. The day 345 run, I was stupidly defending my outer walls and running in a Greed wave containing a crownstealer. One was on day 345 and the other day 320. I focussed my attention on the turtle strategy. The rush version as of this moment I still did not finish. I played the game extensively for the last few weeks and started multiple games. On this board, we discussed of it was possible, to play the game in more ways than the most viable one: rushing. But by the time you can attain this mount, you will probably have plenty of farms or coins, rendering him obsolete. Besides digging for coins, he can buff your farms. The big difference is that the unicorn is much faster. He is the Norse Land's version of the unicorn.

The least effective mount out there in this DLC is Gullinbursti. Later on it lacks the overall stamina and a special attack or defense ability to be useful. The Buck is good for getting more coins faster earlier on.

Combine this with the mount Sleipnir and you can be a one man army if you play it smart.Īs stated above in my opinion Sleipnir is the best mount out there for its speed and its special attacks fire trail and knock back.Sleipnir can be the difference between being overrun in a blood moon and turning the tide. You can early in the game solo portals without having the need for knights. In my opinion the skull is the most useful weapon in the game. The horn, the hammer, the skull and the staff. Your ruler has some awesome weapons to wield. It is now a combination of troops with shields defending outside the walls, your towers and you, the ruler, as the backbone of the defense.Īs for attacking your mount and your ruler are more viable too. As in Deadlands, your ruler has a bigger and more active role in defending then ever before. Compare the highest walls in Norse Lands with the stone walls in the other versions. In this deal you have to forget about walls that are nearly indestructible. However the defense and partly the attack mechanics differ from previous versions. Build up your kingdom, expand it, recruit and destroy the Greed.

I even discussed it on here, that I thought it would be somewhere between 10 and 20 euro's. The music, pixel art style and gameplay are solid. I spend a month of intensive playing the game and I came to this conclusion.Īs I said before and even wrote a review about it, that I like this new DLC. We hope both new and old listeners will enjoy our contribution as much as we've enjoyed making it".Nearly a month has passed since the release of the new deals Norse Lands.
Norse lands game series#
This has been an immensely fun project to be a part of, and we've embraced all the challenges that came with trying to fit our own sound into a game series with an already solid fanbase and existing mythos. Kalandra states: “We’ve long been interested in taking on a project like this, and we were intrigued by the possibility to expand our musical horizons. The band has collaborated with local Norwegian Folk musicians such as John Stenersen and Kenneth Lien, using old instruments like Hurdy-Gurdy, Nyckelharpa and Moraharpa. To transform the original game soundtrack into this new album, the band has extended some tracks and given them a new mix, for the purpose of giving the listener (and non-players) a more holistic experience of the music. Players can unleash abilities drawn upon Norse Gods, control powerful forces, building Viking-inspired armaments, solving challenging puzzles etc. Released to players on the16th of November 2021, Norse Lands takes place in an environment inspired by Norse Viking culture from year 1000 C.E. Composed as the original soundtrack for the game Kingdom Two Crowns and its new world called Norse Lands, “Kingdom Two Crowns: Norse Lands Soundtrack (Extended)” is Kalandra’s second studio album and comes as a very unique and different project from their debut album “The Line” (2020, By Norse Music).
